Tacky Holiday Earring Blog Hop

My close friend Diana set out a problem on Fb a number of weeks in the past to build a tacky pair of earrings to activity with those pretty unattractive Christmas sweaters. I thought it sounded like enjoyment and jumped on board.

However I can’t dress in earrings, but that won’t end me from generating them! I wanted to create earrings that I could present to my 20-one thing daughter and niece, who are normally up for enjoyable.

I’m not certain if these are precisely tacky, but they are little bit a lot more wild than points I might generally build. So grade me on my Humblebeads scale, these are quite out there for me!

My first pair I utilised my folk earring charms that ended up inspired by the patterns of knitted socks. I applied huge wooden beads with Czech glass and tied tinsel-ish ribbon in between the beads. I could so see my daughter wearing these with a sweet pink sweater, rocking around the Christmas tree.

I noticed these triangle frames at the craft shop and promptly considered they’d make a very good Christmas tree. I knotted them with Czech glass beads in between and extra a bit of sparkle for the star. These are some critically prolonged earrings, the tiny bits of waxed linen at the base contact the shoulders! These will go to my niece who wears super big earrings all the time.
